Luisa Casati is a scopey four year old filly by Vadamos. She has been patiently handled by trainer Tom Ward and this patience was rewarded when she won well last season.

She has a handicap mark of 90 and will be aimed at high-class handicaps and Listed races this season, and is sure to give BRC members some fun days out. We are delighted to have this classy filly to race, and feel very lucky to have a ready-made “Saturday horse” from the off!

Tom Ward is a promising young trainer based in Upper Lambourn, where he trains from his state of the art new yard with a fantastic team of enthusiastic staff. Tom’s CV reads like a travel wish list for racing fans; he learnt his craft from several masterful racehorse trainers around the world, including Alain de Royer-Dupre, Francis-Henri Graffard, Kiaran McLaughlin and John O’Shea and Godolphin Australia. Tom was then assistant to Richard Hannon for four years before setting up training in 2019 and has gone from strength to strength with each season with a license.
