Yes, there are options for monthly, quarterly and yearly payments.

Your membership will renew automatically at the end of your 12 months as a member. You can prevent your membership from auto-renewing by cancelling at least one month in advance.

Most of the horses we lease will return to their breeder in order to have a career at stud. Those horses for which this is unsuitable will be found homes as riding horses or companions.

All costs will be covered by The British Racing Club management. You will never asked for additional payments. The only additional costs ever incurred by BRC members are optional extras such as a lunch or other event.

Commonly, horses are bought, either privately or at public auction, but our approach involves recruiting horses from breeders or owners who wish to retain the ownership of the horse, but relinquish all or some of the cost of keeping them for their racing career.

This particularly suits breeders who have a well-related filly who they want to keep for her breeding career but cannot or do not want to pay for her to be in training. We take responsibility for the horse for the extent of the lease, and then give him/her back at the end of the horse’s career.

This allows us to race a type of horse that would otherwise be unaffordable at the BRC’s price point, and also presents lower risk as we are permitted to return the horse if it is not suitable for racing.
